About Me.
Hangyu Bai, a Doctor of Piano Performance, graduated from the University of Arizona, a public Ivy League institution ranked in the top 100 by US News, majoring in Piano Performance with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. She holds a Master's degree in Piano Performance and an Advanced Certificate in Contemporary Music Performance from the State University of New York at Buffalo, along with an Artist Diploma in Piano Performance from Purchase College. As an experienced music educator, Hangyu has served as a lecturer in the Music Department at the State University of New York at Buffalo and has contributed her piano teaching skills there.
Throughout her performing career, Hangyu has received numerous international accolades, including a Second Place in the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, an opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall, and awards at the Hong Kong Schimmel Cup. Additionally, her role as a cultural exchange ambassador, awarded during her “Travesía Musical” tour in Mexico, underscores her substantial influence in the international music arena.
